QueryBox
QueryBox allows you to easily create a Live Search Input form that lets users search and refine a query while continuously showing all valid results as they type.
When I started building this website. I thought It'd be nice to have a LiveSearch form that will let anyone search for content as they typed. I looked around a bit and I couldn't really find a Javascript Component that was so simple that will let me instantiate it and style it right away. So I thought it'd be a nice weekend project to write one up.
It actually didn't take long to code up, and I quickly included it in this website - you can see it running on the top right side of the header
Later I thought I'd clean it up, package it and offer it for free to anyone else who might need one. I have to say that this last bit was not that easy. Cleaning something up, and covering all the wholes of a production level component definitively takes way more work. I'd say I spent 10% of the total time I spent on this project writing the first version up and including it in this website. Later I spent 90% of that time, doing cleanup and making it robust enough that I'd cover all usage scenarios.
So here it goes, please let me know if you have any comments / suggestions on how to improve it
